Birthplace of the well-known painter Piero Guccione, who often portrayed his churches, coasts and sea in his paintings, it became the Vigata Commissioner in 1998, home to the TV series "Il Commissario Montalbano" and in 2002 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. . 

The golden beach of Sampieri, a pretty seaside village, complete with a marina, cliff and the ancient Penna furnace overlooking the sea, is 5 km away and offers both free and equipped areas. 

The historic center of Scicli is 6km away, Ragusa is 18km away, Modica 11km away and Noto 34km away, while the nearest airport of Comiso is 28km away. 

Many natural and artistic beauties, many culinary delights such as cannoli, arancini and Modica chocolate, all concentrated in a few km.

Located 250 meters from the main road, in the Farlì district, Casa Farlisa is a quiet, secluded and unique place, appreciated for its rural and unspoiled beauty: olive, carob and almond trees, wild plants and then sheep, cows and horses.

Access to the property is via a dirt road.
